Our goal
Brazilkeys aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, so that everyone, including people who use assistive technology, can read our guides and browse our pages.
What we do
- Pages use semantic HTML: one main heading per page, landmark regions and a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and focused links and buttons are visibly outlined.
- Form fields have labels that screen readers announce.
- Text and background colours are chosen for readable contrast.
Known limitations
- The interactive map on the home page is a visual aid. Everything it shows is also available as plain text links under Markets.
- Listing pages do not show photos. The photos are on each original listing, which is run by a third party and may not meet the same standard.
- Some older guide pages skip a heading level. We are correcting these as we update the pages.
