Four-bedroom house with sea-view terraces in the hills of Vidigal

This house sits in the green hills of Vidigal, surrounded by tropical plants and open to wide views of the ocean. It has 265 m² of built area on an 800 m² lot, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The interiors have warmth and character. Ceilings are high, with double-height sections, and large windows let in a lot of daylight. Stone details and handmade touches run through the rooms, and the living spaces flow easily from one to the next, each turned toward the landscape outside.

The terraces are the heart of the house. They face the sea, and from early morning until evening they look out over water, sky and greenery. They are good places for a slow breakfast, a long lunch or a night with friends. There is also a rooftop terrace and a landscaped garden.

Practical features include air conditioning, a laundry room, a water reservoir, a home office and a library, and the master bedroom has a sea view. The house is pet friendly, and there is visitor parking.

For a buyer who wants character, privacy and a setting between forest and sea, this is a home with a strong sense of place in one of the best-known neighbourhoods of Rio de Janeiro.
