Four-suite duplex penthouse with ocean and mountain views in Vidigal

This duplex penthouse sits high on the Vidigal hillside, between the Atlantic and the Dois Irmãos mountain. It has 400 m² of space, four bedrooms that are all suites, five bathrooms and two parking spaces.

The views are the main reason to see it. From most rooms the outlook runs across Leblon, Ipanema and Arpoador to the Cagarras Islands and the open sea, and the scene shifts with the light from early morning to evening.

Inside, the living and dining areas are open plan and full of daylight, and they lead straight out to wide terraces that work well for dinners with friends or quiet time outdoors. The kitchen has premium finishes, and the home has air conditioning throughout, built-in wardrobes and a walk-in closet in the main suite, which looks out to sea. The listing also includes a private pool, a jacuzzi, a home cinema, a laundry room and a storage room. The building has an elevator, a doorman, a 24-hour concierge and CCTV.

Vidigal is a lively hillside neighbourhood a few minutes from Leblon and Ipanema, so the beaches, restaurants and shops of both are close by. The penthouse suits a buyer looking for a private family residence or a holiday home in Rio with space, privacy and an open view.
